How Do I Get My Website on Google and Bing?
A website can be live on the internet without being immediately visible in search results. Here is the practical process for helping Google and Bing discover, crawl and understand it.
Start with the basics
You do not pay Google or Bing simply to put a normal website in their organic index.
The practical job is to make the website reachable, give search engines clear discovery routes and provide pages worth indexing. Webmaster tools then help you monitor what the search engines actually see.
Build internal links
Search engines discover pages by following links. Important pages should not sit isolated with no route from the rest of the site.
Provide an XML sitemap
A clean sitemap gives Google and Bing another structured discovery route for the URLs you want considered for indexing.
Use Google Search Console
Verify the site, submit the sitemap and use URL Inspection when you need to check Google's current index status for a specific page.
Use Bing Webmaster Tools
Submit the sitemap, inspect URLs and use Bing's technical reports to see whether crawling, indexing, SEO or markup issues are being detected.
Notify changes where appropriate
IndexNow can notify Bing and other participating search engines when URLs are added, updated or deleted. It complements normal crawling and sitemap discovery.
What happens next?
Discovery is not the same as indexing, and indexing is not the same as ranking.
A search engine may know that a page exists without adding it to its index immediately. Even an indexed page may rank poorly if it is not relevant or competitive enough for the query.
Google's own guidance says requesting a recrawl does not guarantee instant inclusion and that crawling can take from a few days to a few weeks. Repeatedly pressing request buttons is not a substitute for useful content and a sound website.
Think in three stages
Found → crawled → indexed. Ranking comes after that and depends on relevance, quality, competition and many other signals.

On 17 August 2026, Vantora Web Studio completed its own search-visibility setup and recorded a useful technical snapshot: the XML sitemap had been submitted to Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools, 31 sitemap URLs were submitted through IndexNow, Bing reported the homepage as successfully indexed with no SEO/GEO issues, and a Bing Site Scan crawled 37 pages with 0 errors and 0 warnings.
Those results confirm that the technical discovery and crawl foundations were working at that point. They do not guarantee a search position, traffic level or future ranking.
What the result proves
It proves the site had working technical discovery routes and passed Bing's scan without errors or warnings at the time of the check.
What the result does not prove
It does not prove that every page is indexed everywhere, that rankings will rise immediately or that a search engine endorses Vantora.
What should I do after submission?
Build a website that deserves to stay in the index.
- Keep important business information accurate and current.
- Publish genuinely useful pages that answer customer questions.
- Link related pages together with descriptive internal links.
- Fix crawl, indexing, mobile or structured-data problems when the tools report them.
- Earn genuine mentions, links, reviews and proof over time rather than manufacturing them.
- Watch actual search queries and impressions before making endless keyword changes.
