Both platforms can produce a business website, but they suit different priorities. Wix focuses on an all-in-one hosted website builder, while WordPress offers broader control and flexibility when a website needs to grow.
There is no useful answer based only on which platform is more popular. The right choice depends on how much control you want, whether you expect the website to expand, who will manage it and whether eCommerce or specialist functionality may be needed later.

Vantora uses WordPress for its multi-page business website route because it provides practical administrator access and room for the site to expand. WooCommerce provides the eCommerce route when products, basket and checkout are required.
That does not mean every business needs WordPress. A focused one-page website may be enough when the message is simple and the website does not need a larger content-management structure.
Ask who controls the domain, what hosting or platform fees apply, what happens if the website grows, how content is edited and whether the platform supports the features the business may genuinely need later.
